The Day of the Dead

On November 1st , the belief behind the Day of the Dead practices is that spirits return to the earth for one day of the year to be with their families. It is said that the spirits of babies and children who have died arrive on October 31st at midnight, spend an entire day with their families and then leave. Adults come following. So, Mexicans offer skull shaped chocolate and suger besides special bread (pan de muertos)that is made especially for the season.

The spirits are greeted with offerings of food and things that the person enjoyed in life. These are laid out on the Day of the Dead altar in the family home. It is believed that the spilits follow the aroma of the food and share it with their family, friends and neighbors.

Mont Saint Michel

Mont Saint Michel is a rocky tidal island and a communue in Normandy, France. It is located about one kilometer off the country's north coast.

Mont Saint Michel was previously connected to the mainland via a thin natural land land bridge, which before modernization was covered at high tide and revealed at low tide. Over the centuries, the distance between the shore and the south coast of Mont Saint Michel has decreased

The grand street leads to the religious house and there are a lot of souvenir shops and hotels with a restaurant. There is always bustling. It is famos for a big omelet and roast lamb. The big omelet is made of one egg. If you go there, you should try it!!!

Asahiyama Zoo

I’m going to talk about popular animals in this zoo. I recommend you seeing penguin and a spotted seal’s exhibition.

First, Penguin’s exhibition is very exciting because they can’t really flying, but we can see them swimming as if they were flying. And we can see they can swim so fast that we can’t see them.

Next, the highlight of a spotted seal’s exhibition is a cylindrical water tank. This tank is made to use their characteristic to the full. We can see them lively actions. All exhibitions are devised to show the behavior of wild animals.
